Madera Irrigation District (MID or District) is set to end the 2024 water season on Friday, October 11, 2024.  Despite an allocation of only 90% Class 1, MID was still able to maximize supplies and have a full water season which began on April 10, 2024 and ran for half a year.

MID will now be entering the maintenance season. District staff will be busy repairing, rehabilitating, and maintaining critical infrastructure, which includes over 150 miles of pipeline and 300 miles of canals throughout the area.

MID would like to thank its landowners for their cooperation this year, making the 2024 water season another success!
