The Madera Irrigation District (MID or District) water season will begin April 28, 2025.  At a meeting held on April 15, 2025 the rate was set to $98.00 per acre foot for Original District landowners and $196.00 per acre foot for Subordinate landowners.  These rates may be reviewed and adjusted as conditions change throughout the year.  With a current allocation of 100% Class 1 water MID expects a full water season, hopefully continuing into August.

MID growers must fill out a Crop Water Application and order water prior to taking deliveries, the availability and timing will be location dependent.  MID is accepting Crop Water Applications and water orders now.
