MID Water Season Continues
Yesterday, the United States Bureau of Reclamation (USBR) announced that MID’s water supply allocation will be increased to 30%, Class 1. This is welcome news and keeps MID on target for extending the water season into August. Given the water demands, current supplies, and weather conditions, MID is projecting the season will continue into the first or second week of August, depending on where you are in the system.
Please continue to work with your Canal Operator(s) on deliveries and scheduling throughout the remainder of the season.
