The Human Resources (HR) Department plans, organizes, manages, directs, and supervises the personnel processes and procedures.  The HR Department is responsible for the oversight of employee recruitment, hiring and orientation, employee relations, compensation, workplace safety, employment law, staff training, and organizational development.    The HR Department is also responsible for the Risk Management of the District, which includes the District’s Safety Program, Insurance, Random Drug Screening Program, Workers’ Compensation Program, and the District’s Benefit Programs.
